Prisma stores are large hypermarkets where you’ll work as part of a larger team. Prisma offers a wide variety of roles. At Prisma, you can work in the checkout department, the grocery department, the household goods department, or at the information desk. In the checkout department, a sales associate’s duties include customer service and ensuring secure cash transactions. In the grocery department, the work is fast-paced and focuses on unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, and interacting with customers. In your role, you may also have the opportunity to pick online orders. In the general merchandise department, the tasks are largely similar, but there the sales associate also needs product knowledge or an interest in the product ranges of various departments, such as apparel, construction and renovation, home technology, or sports products. At the information desk, tasks are very varied and consist mainly of advising customers. At the information desk, you’ll assist with matters such as Veikkaus, Toto, gift cards, product returns, ticket sales, and postal services.
