Self-Service Kiosks Introduced at ABC Stations in Juva and Kuortti

Osuuskauppa Suur-Savo has introduced self-service kiosks at its ABC stations in Juva and Kuortti, offering customers a convenient and faster way to order and pay for food, drinks, and other purchases.
The self-service kiosks make restaurant ordering, café purchases, and convenience store shopping quicker, easier, and more flexible, especially for travellers on the go. They provide an alternative to traditional cashier service and help reduce waiting times. Customers can browse the selection at their own pace, choose their preferred meals, and easily customise their orders. The first self-service kiosks were introduced at ABC Pitkäjärvi in Mikkeli in December 2024. Following positive customer feedback and successful user experiences, Osuuskauppa Suur-Savo decided to expand the service to the ABC stations in Juva and Kuortti."We wanted to offer our customers a fast, easy, and modern way to make purchases. Traditional cashier service remains available, but self-service kiosks, familiar from many quick-service restaurants, are particularly popular among younger customers. They also make shopping smoother during busy periods. At their peak, self-service transactions have accounted for nearly 45 per cent of our daily sales," says Arttu Toroi, ABC Group Manager at Osuuskauppa Suur-Savo.At the same time, both ABC Restaurants will introduce dedicated pick-up points for à la carte meals. Customers can follow the preparation of their meals in real time and collect them as soon as they are ready. This ensures that meals are served as fresh as possible immediately after preparation.Further InformationArttu Toroi, ABC Group Manager, Osuuskauppa Suur-Savo Tel. +358 10 764 2008, arttu.toroi@sok.fi
